Is Just Prices the same thing as FarmPricing?

No. Just Prices, LLC is the company and the experiment; FarmPricing is its first venture, covering crop protection products. If your question is about the app, support can answer it either way.

So is this an agriculture company?

Agriculture is where we started, not what we are. The method is built to work in any market where prices exist but are hard to see. FarmPricing is the first place we're running it.

What market comes second?

Undecided. FarmPricing has to teach us whether a viable business model reveals itself before we take on another market. If you work in one where prices are impossible to see, tell us about it.

Do you sell the products you report prices for?

No. Just Prices, LLC doesn't manufacture, sell, recommend, apply, ship, or warrant any of them, and we're not a party to any transaction. Frankly we don't even know what half of them do. Every sale is between a buyer and an independent seller.

Where can I actually see prices?

In the FarmPricing app. This site describes the company and the experiment; the app is where pricing information is viewed and reported. Start at farmpricing.com.

Are the prices current?

Some are, some aren't. Prices move with the season, the supply and the terms of each deal, so we show the reported or collected date whenever we have it and let you judge how current a number is.

Something looks wrong. Will you fix it?

Yes. Either flag it in the app or email [email protected]. We review suspected errors, duplicates, and mismatched products, and we correct or remove information that doesn't hold up.

What if the experiment fails?

Then we'll have learned something worth knowing and enjoyed the adventure.
